When we asked our customers to show us where their Haand pieces live outside of the kitchen @MissChaoticGood went above and beyond with seven entries!

We couldn't wait to find out what her favorite pieces were and what she plans to do with them when she can get together with friends again.

It looks like you have quite a bit of Haand in your house, do you have a favorite piece?

This question is difficult for me because I love all my Haand pottery. But, if I had to choose, it would probably be the 11” black sushi tray that is shown all throughout my #haandathome photos. It makes my dinners for one feel fancier and can be multifunctional throughout the house. Though if Haand ever decides to make their rice bowl or sharing bowl in that gorgeous shade of lapis, I can see myself being easily swayed.

Now that people are starting to get vaccinated, do you have a dream meal/ dinner party that you would share with friends? Walk us through the menu or theme.

I bought my Haand pieces for a post-pandemic dinner party that I want to host with some of my closest girlfriends. We are all massive fans of Studio Ghibli films and I want to throw a themed party around that mutual love. I am actually in the process of trying to refine my menu because there are so many good recipes that I want to share and I have finally mastered the art of making homemade dumplings. I know for certain that I will be making my bell pepper “akami” nigiri, shiitake mushroom yaki gyoza, and a variety of seasonal vegetable tempura. The main dish will likely be either soba or udon noodle soup if I do not fill everyone up before that! For dessert, I am going to serve Medicine of the River Spirit (matcha daifuku) and Soot Sprite macarons. I am still in the process of creating a Spirited Away Spirits menu, but one of the drinks will definitely be called Can’t Feel No-Face.

How did you find out about Haand?

The wonderful algorithms of Instagram connected me with your page!

I can't help but notice that you have some multi-sided dice in one of your pictures, is this for Dungeons and Dragons?

It is indeed D&D! The character shown in the photo is Half-Elf Storm Sorcerer (Level 5) named Genevieve. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, we have not been able to continue that campaign, so I fear that she may be lost to the void. However, I am currently creating an online homebrew campaign that I’ve humorously named Of Dice and Damsels so maybe Genevieve will be revived in the form of a background NPC.
