What is a Second?

A “second quality” piece (i.e just below first quality) has a slight flaw but is still perfectly functional. They may be slightly different in color or glossier than intended - they might also have iron spots or a pourline. We discount these pieces heavily, and they are a great way to start your own Haandmade home.

How do I get early access to the Seconds Sales?

Early Access to our sale is password protected. To gain access to the next Seconds Sale before the general public, subscribe to our email newsletter! On launch day, after clicking on the 'Seconds Sale' button in the top menu of the site, you will be asked to enter the passcode. If you have any trouble entering the sale, please email customercare@haand.us and we will provide the passcode immediately.

Are Seconds safe?

 All Seconds are 100% lead free and still meet FDA criteria for tableware. The ingredients are selected following strict guidelines for selecting colorants and glazes with the intention of creating a safe, ethically sourced product that you can proudly and joyfully use.

Seconds (like our first-quality pieces) are Microwave & Dishwasher safe.

How often do you have Seconds Sales?

We are planning to have our Seconds Sale open twice a year. For specific dates and to gain access to the Seconds Sale, subscribe to our email newsletter! Once the sale is closed, Seconds are not available to purchase online until the next sale opens.

When will my Seconds order ship?

We are expecting an extremely high order volume during the sale.  In order to ensure everything arrives at your home safely, we pack your order very carefully.  Our shipping team will be working hard to get your order shipped within 1-3 weeks of when you place your order. If you need your order shipped more quickly, we encourage you to reach out to customercare@haand.us and we’ll do our best to accommodate the request.

What is the return policy for Seconds?

All sales of Seconds are final - no returns or exchanges. If you received an item/order that is Damaged, Defective or Incorrect, please contact us at customercare@haand.us with your order number and we will remedy the situation promptly.
