I was looking for a bowl that would work for every meal; big enough for a whole meal, 2 or 3 times a day. This bowl has met that need perfectly. Heavy, nice color, deep, just right. Am traveling for the holiday and am bringing it with me. Every item I’ve bought from Haand has been just right.
The sharing bowls are absolutely beautifully made and heirloom quality!
I bought a mix of celadon green and black plates, bowls and serving pieces to use daily. These are great, I love to heat them before using and they hold heat well. I’d say they were almost indestructible, except for the fact that I dropped two bowls stacked together and they did not survive. I did, however, order replacements which were shipped quickly and I’m thrilled. You won’t go wrong buying these.
We were looking for new bowls for our new home along the Cape in Massachustts -- and found Haand on the Web. We ordered some 'Sharing bowls' and they were perfect. Stylish, not cookie-cutter dinner ware, and tough -- not fragile. So we ordered more. Great for our home, and if I was running a restaurant this would be my "go to" source. Mark and Nadine Hays
Like all Haand pottery, holding, offering, and eating from this sharing bowl is like a complete relationship. Visually, the azalea pink is both vibrant and deep and seems to make whatever you place in the bowl pop with enhanced appeal. The size of the bowl is perfect for multiple uses, but I love it best for heaping with pasta, salad, soup or chili -- any size serving looks gorgeous in this sharing bowl. Touching this pottery is, however, its greatest reward. The heft and shape of the sharing bowl makes it robust yet still surprisingly elegant. I have shopped around for something comparable (and less expensive), but without success. I have therefore resolved to add slowly to my HAAND collection, growing it as my budget permits, as it is one of a kind. I must add that I appreciate immensely the personalized responses from the folks at HAAND -- wonderfully humanizing in an age of galloping dehumanization.
